Are you ignorant or are you just being an ass?

Anyone who washes dirt off their car with a rag needs a lesson in proper car care.

There were plenty of extremely clean cars at the show, and most of them drove through the same rain everyone else did. When you drive to a car show to compete in the rain you come prepared with detailing supplies and get the car cleaned up when you arrive.

During the first 5 years, Bimmercruise had a several concours classes for cars exactly like yours.. rare, babied and prestine. Last year we combined the BMWCC-Trillium concours with Bimmercruise at Mosport, but didn't have enough entries... so we dropped it all together this year. Next year, I promise we will have more classes to appease enthusiasts like yourself. I'm sorry if you left with a sour memory of the event.
I have no problem with it being a modified car show, and I know most of the people on this forum much prefer it that way.

I put a lot of hard work and money into preparing my car for the show only to find out I wasn't actually eligible to compete when I got there. I don't mind losing fairly when I'm beat by a better car, but when given a choice between competing against a nice regular 3 series or supercharged heavily modified M3 I didn't feel right going up against either one.

The title "show & shine" doesn't sound like you need a modified car to me.

Randy, without a much larger number of cars attendance I don't think you should be making up classes just to keep everyone happy - if my car doesn't qualify I don't need to bring it next year.

One less car won't ruin the show.
