Just did it on my E30, very easy to swap wheels at the track... for the street it's probably a waste of money.

Ok, I've got an E30 with the spec-e30 suspension, and 15x7 track wheels 25mm offset. Can I fit 225/50R15 nitto NT-01's on the car? Or will I have to go with 225/45R15's?

I just put some Sumitomo HTR200's 205/60R14 on the stock 14x6 wheels. They work just great on the street

I've done it, they don't bolt to the rotor's they go directly into the hub.

Remember to use the strongest lock-tite you can find.

The 225/50's will be fine, although the 225/45's might be faster around some tracks (shorter gearing). The 50 is the correct rolling diameter though. Nice tire choice BTW, those Nitto's are getting rave reviews.

Thanks, we'll see how everything turns out. I've already got a 4.10 in the rear, so I don't want to shorten the gearing too much more...

I can't decide between the toyo ra1's and the nitto's...but that's not for this thread

Thanks man!

I have a set of rotas 205-50-16, et 40, just a 20mm hubcentric spacer will work? even once i lower the ride height?

Another thing is the centre bore of the wheels is too big, is there spacers for the centerbore aswell? i dont want to put the wheels on if theyre not a good fitment on the hub.

Thanks, Vic.

15mm hubcentric spacers would be a better choice, as you'd have the option to 225 tires without rolling the fenders.

90% of the wheels you see on E30s have oversized centerbores. You just need hubcentric rings, good wheel/tire shops should have a stock of them.

Someone is advertising some 17in rims for an E30, but I'm not sure if they'll fit my car ('91 E30 318is).

http://www.maxbimmer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=95200

If you check

http://www.bigwheels.net/?location=w...30,%204%20lugs)

the details are: 17x7.5, 4x100, offset: 45.

Is there any way that a 45 offset could fit a stock E30 without having to do some major bodywork?
