that is a E66 with bulky test pannels on it

I seriously doubt that an M7 if they ever made one, would have a hood scoop lol.

I see it somewhat unlikely for them to develop one now when the could have a long time ago. The 7er's just don't lend themselves to the same crowd that would want an M version of the car. Plus can you imagine the price point? M5 is $110,000 and an E66 loaded up is hitting proly $120 +++ the 760 was like $140,000 and even that wasn't an M, so what would they charge? $150-160,000? I can't see many if any people buying one when they could just go and get an M5 which is only slightly smaller inside, get a civic for a DD, and call it a day

I'd say it has a twin turbo M5 motor under that bonnet........ and there's ALWAYS a market. This would make more sense to build then a new M5 as posted in another thread.

That hood vent looks sooooo Chrysler Hemi though.

I'd buy a M7 ... if I had the money ... and I already had a Ferrari in the garage.

But yeah, you can't tell much from the spy shots. Take the X6 for example, that was looking to be the ugliest thing in the world for a while, and it ain't that bad.

They could even just be using the e65/66 chassis to test an engine. The new 7 most likely won't have the same lines.
