Which audio shop did they do the installed for you guys? May I ask how much they charged? I'd love to get a double din screen with Nav.

im doing it @ Car Audio Haven in Bramptonm they charge 200 for install, but u have to provide the bezel $250(takes sooo fukin long to ship, still waiting), and AC relocation kit from bmw 100$ then im getting the Kenwood DNX 7100 for $1600 and free ipod kit cause the owner hooks ppl up with beemers cause he has one too.

$200 for the installed of double din with gps?? That's a great deal then. What if we don't have the bezel from mybimmer.net, would they be able to use something else to give it a clean look? I like the Pioneer double din.. any opinion on this unit?

no they wont, they only have a single din. they dont do custom bezels. Just buy the one from mybimmer.net, i would tell u if its worth it or not, but i still havent got mine, hopefully this week. but for 250$ its gotta be good, ive heard from other forums its good. Add me to msn and i can give u more info.

did I understand this right? your paying $200 for installation using a bezel that your providing for them. If that what it is it sounds like a huge rip man. Installation of a head unit is not worth nearly $200 man.

they have to bypass all the Harmon Kardon speakers and the amp cause there is no wiring harness, and they have to fabricate a crade to sit the screen

seems expesnive nonetheless, it seems hard to believe that no harness exists to bypass the factory HK amp, even still shouldn't be that hard. Oh well, as long as they do a good job, post some after pics!!
