I did that the first time, now I realize the elegance of it. The bastards that stole my CD earlier this year broke it too. Hey, IT MUST HAVE BEEN YOU!! They hulk smashed my window too. j/k of course.
Adam, remember my frustration with the metal clips on e30 engine bay plugs? I used to think you had to pull them off before removing them, and the clip always went flying.. Adam was surprised to hear I hated those clips, considering you _push_ on them and they pop right off. Doh.

My car didn't have a radio, much less have the original harness. Thought the new to me deck did have the original E36 harness, I tried to salvage it but I couldn't take the thing apart!
Jamil: Did you want that amp to try out with your car stereo? It's a 4x35W with low level inputs. No need to convert or buy another adapter.

No thank you. I'm sick of wiring after getting the computer in. Let me tell you, trying to run one of those thick VGA cables (with the cable head on!) from the trunk of the car to the dash, all under the carpet was a pain in the ASS!
Plus, wouldn't I have to change out all my speakers to make it work? I don't know what the ohm rating of the speakers are, plus I really really don't feel like having to figure out this crossover BS.
Thanks for the offer though.

I'm not sure of the resistance or the location of the crossovers, if theirnot already on board the OEM amp.
There was a thread in the audio section where someone just replaced the amp and used it to power the fronts only. Whether or not he had separates is another story.
I'm considering using it but I hate running cables, just like you...
