Differential on E-30

Hey guys I need a bit of help with my E-30 1985 325e. My car has been off the road for the last month and a half because well first of all it needs the output shaft replaced, which is ok but I don't know if it ****ed up my differential in the process. Now I have called BMW and they said 2018.00 for a new differential and I ain't paying that much. Can anyone possibley tell me wherwe I can get a better price, no real hurry by the way because seing how it is winter it is pretty much like storing the car anyways.

Why exactly do you think your diff. is messed up? Elaborate a bit on this as I'm finding it hard to understand why a bad output would screw your diff. up.

Hey Lennon I didn't do anything its just my car it always breaks down ALWAYS. Oh and by the way thatnx for the whole it looking mint thing but I still have a ways to go yet. By the way I saw yours the other day and your car is looking GREAT, it must be nice to have an E-30 that does not break down every 2 months. Oh and by the way why are you selling your car are you nuts?

No the reason I think the differential may be gone is because I was having some trouble lately with turning it was all rough but my mechanic actually was looking and it may be alright after all but I am in no hurry to fix it until the weather gets warmer, besides it gives me more time to get th body kit I want.

I have a differential for you if you need one..It's a 3.25 LSD. Shorter ratio will improves your accelerations! 3.25 is the perfect ratio for a 325e.. my friend done it and the results are good.
