Detailing Service?

this may be a terrible question,

are there places in which you can take your car to get these detailing services performed, i had a sunday off like 2 weeks ago and cleaned my car (vaccuumed etc) however iv never done waxing or polishing and cant see myself haveing 6 hours straight free to learn how to do it. Plus i love my car to much to screw it up (buff to hard, scratch paint i dno iv heard a lot of nasty thigns can happen if you dont know what your doing)

if so what sorta price am i looking at to have it done?
