E36 M3 Boost questions

hey guys. Im looking to boost an E36 M3

my goal is to make 500whp setup. From what ive been reading thats not to crazy for these motor and trannies.

just curious to konw what some of the other guys are running to get similar power

Turbo is the way to go if you want to hit that mark. Also save some money to the side for when the tranny goes (if it’s high mileage), big brake kit, suspension (if you don’t have any you will need it) also exhaust it’s needed to maximize horsepower. You may want to do a leak down and compression test just it case because as soon as you are at full boost and you have a compression issue say goodbye to the motor
Its all about rolling in the X5 !!!

i would just get a tt stage 2 setup and be happy with 430whp for $8g's...way less headache than a custom setup that is going to make 500whp. with the tt kit you could upgrade to a gt35r and water/methanol injection and probably make 500whp...
