today I went to BMW toronto for 55-point inspection. $34.95+tax =$39.85

price was very good. anyway

here is the problem

1. requires both rear coil springs
L/R coil spring broken quoted @ $700 + taxes installed.

2. both V-belts (cracked) quoted at $210 + taxes installed

3. Four lifting pads (missing) $70 + taxes installed.

now... need to find good parts from aftermarket...
any suggestion?

also.. A/C wtf...

there are 4 A/C and heat fan.. 2 of them on driver side works fine..

but 2 of them on passenger side.. omg.. even I turn on A/C, still

Very common problem on 3er's and i say that cause i've personally seen it tons of times on E36's (both my cars), some E30's and even on E46's (M3 too!). You don't really notice it since just the last little coil breaks, half the time the ride height barely gets effected. This would be a good time to swap for some aftermarket lowering springs since it's probably cheaper and makes the car look better!

Don't waste your time in dealership, go check out some other shop. Since you have to replace the spring , it is true is time for aftermarket suspension upgrade for your car.
Good luck!
