Removing Tint

I recently had to replace my drivers side window glass. Unfortunately, my car doesn't have tint, and the new pane of glass was tinted. My brother tried to remove the tint, but the surface is still sticky, and it looks dirty. Can anyone suggest what to use to remove tint or the adhesive for tint?? I haven't tried anything yet, so i'm open to suggestions. I was thinking possibly using nail polish remover, but I'm not sure how practical that is, or if there's a more common product used to remove the adhesive.

Try calling up local tint places and ask what they use to remove the adhesive.

I think acetone is what they use, but don't quote me on that.

EasyOff oven cleaner.

Seriously, it's what the professionals use. Just watch the interior parts and paint.

Take the tint off and take the window out and soak it over night to get the glue off.
