Ariel Atom HWY 10 North

saw this at around 7p.m. while traveling South on HWY 10 near Square 1 and i was totally confused at what i saw. At first I though it was a T-Rex but as it got closer and closer i could see it was in fact an Atom. Now the question is, are these even legal here? they have no air bags or anything

I've talked to their Canada Rep & he told me they are for track use only, not street legal for many reasons, most likely some guy that just got it & went for a little boot, I would

Nope, i read in the Toronto Star, there is one in Mississauga legal for road use.

He's a lawyer, and had to drop alot of cash to get it road legal, and he had to put some headlights on it, among other things.

So yes, that particular Ariel Atom is legal for road use.

For the money they are asking for them, and they AREN'T street legal, is a bit crazy. You can technically buy an unassembled frame and make it yourself, assemble it as a "kit car" and be completely kosher.
