how much do u guys pay to get rims over from the states i think of buying some from the states some guy say to go with usps just wanna no how much it gonna be on average for 4 rims

from what i've heard usps turns over the packages to canada post after it goes though customs. i guess from there you pay your duties and taxes. i also think this way is cheaper than ups.

over the winter i picked up a set of new rims. the cost included shipping within the states but it cost me and extra 50 us for shipping over to canada. it was shipped ups on time and when it got here i paid about an additioal 85 cdn for taxes and duties from a handling company. (i think that's what they're called).

depending on the cost you pay those taxes if the items are used too.

so depending on how far determines the cost of shipping plus taxes. i'd say budget a couple hundred ontop of the actual price and you'll be ok.

This might help you out, I sell Ronal LS rims and a number of my customers send them various northern states and pick them up there. Here is the break down of fees

these are the numbers for importing auto parts in to Canada,
6% federal import duty tax
6% federal goods and services tax
7% provincial sales tax
Some other $50 fee as well.
plus about 25.00 dollars shipping per wheel
