chevy power in 5 series

What do you guys think.. a 60's chevy 350 400 hp V8 in a 1990 535 body..

I can get the motor for really cheap.. and it would be a fun toy for about 15 grand total cost.

would you do it or am I insane? I would put it in my 318 but i don't think i can get a wide enough tire on my car to keep it on the ground

Please don't. Pushrods aren't allowed in BMWs!

Really though I think it would be more fun to build up the m30 engine and keep the balance of the car intact.

What's with you and these hair-brain ideas? Man, you sound either really despirate for attention, or looking for the cheapest way to make HP (NO SUCH THING!!!.) Just save up a little longer and DO IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME!!!!!

Gamite maybe an E34 like yours would be a better platform for me to use. I'm sure i could fit a big block under that hood and I could easly run a 9.5 inch wide wheel.. lots of traction!!

hmmmm new twist to my madness
