droptop: I'm not "hatin' on" your thread, but I've seen these wheels posted in 4 places on this forum (2 in the 7 section, once in the 5 and once in the for sale). You say that they will fit all 5s and 7s perfectly, however, I have my doubts as I believe 5s and 7s have different hub sizes, and they may also have different offset requirments. This is not to say that you can't make the wheels fit each model, however the buyer "may" need to also acquire hub centric rings and/or spacers.

They are nice looking rims and tires ... it would probably help your cause if you posted the make of the rims and tires (as Hound pointed out) along with all of the sizing information including offset, etc. This info is most likely available on the back of each rim, and as I'm sure you know, will probably be slightly different for the back and front given the staggered setup.

Sorry if you already posted this info somewhere and I missed it.

Good luck with the sale!!

Thanks for the info Seven. If he includes that information it would help me make my decision Don't want to buy something and find the inconvenience of spacers etc

K, that's good, but it still doesn't tell us the offset or hub size.

I'm not a wheel expert, but the ones I have seen have a lot of other numbers written on the back. If you're not sure what number corresponds to what, just write them all down; we should be able to distinguish. And if the rims don't have any other numbers on them then, dunno, I guess potenial buyers will just have to test fit, or buy and alter the fit if need be.

Edit: I see RMP said in the 5 series section that they will fit 5s and 7s perfectly ... maybe ask them what the offset etc is if they are sure.

droptop, when you look at the rear there will be writing somewhere proly on one of the spokes that says something like this: "ET 20" or "20 ET"

just post that up and we will know what the offset is.

For the hub size, you can measure them (in MM) and let us know, or, tell us what car they came off of and if hub centric rings (aka hub rings) were used...

a 20 offset is good for a 7.

And, according to this chart http://www.discountedwheelwarehouse...._Reference.cfm, the same offset is good for a 5. Only thing you have to be concerned about is the hub size, and only the 97 and above 5s have a different offset 74.1 as opposed to 72.56.

Wish I had of found that chart earlier ... would have made this thread a little shorter.

cept E60's, they went back to 72.56, that's how I got my rims to fit without rings.
