Need helping getting an M3
I am interested in purchasing an E36 M3 95-98, can anyone recommend a place to start looking? (besides autotrader.ca). I live in Richmond Hill and I'd be willing to drive up to 200km to find it. The lease on my current car is expiring in April and I'd like to spend anywhere from 35-40K on an E36 M3 with less than 80,000km.
Any help would be appreciated...

Umm.. not a whole lot of M3s in Toronto for sale on that webpage, for some reason I think I will have a very hard time finding one in the Toronto/GTA area.

Dave, I live in Richmond Hill and I just bought my m3( 2 weeks ago) I looked for it in trader.ca
I don't really know nay other place. Just look around.
Don't waste your time on Black M3 at Auto City in downtown it is a rust box, also blue one in Focus Auto Group, it's was abused it very slow compare to mine, and the odometr was rolled back.
Also white one in CAR ENTHUSIAST LTD, has very ugly interier.
They also got one 95 supercharged m3 for 40k and one fake one.
Also yellow at LENYS AUTOMEGA INC sold.
They got silver 97 with 27k it's 48k

Which one did you get? What was the deal?
I've been tracking Autotrader.ca's M3s and they all seem bad, except one that was a Dakar one in BMW Missisaugua, and I dislike that colour, the colour I'm looking for is either Estoril or any type silver. I might look into importing an American car since the M3 market in ontario is apparently scarce.

I've seen that one in person, its a total rip.
They want 48$ for 97, you can almost get a 99 for that much elsewhere. Plus, that car has been sitting in their showroom for the last 7 months, something is probably wrong with it.
I'm looking for something that is no more than 40k...
Thanks anyways.

yeah i've seen this car in person, yes it has superchargher, bbs rims, a lotsa more mods. I wouldn't suggest this car to anyone. the most abused car on trader.ca
Dakar Yellow in mississauga is 42k, I didn't see it when I came to look at it, sales persoin didn't even let me. Too young I guess.
I got '97 Silver M3/4 from Excutive Auto Group on Keele and 7th Highway.
The was in VERY good condition.

Dave, I would recomend you to look at this
http://www.trader.ca/CaliberAutomobi...nm=-1&trader=1
Personally I didn't see it, but it looks mint on the photo.
It's sedan wich is kinda cool. I got sedan, no problems with that except no VADERS
Laso everybody think that you are an idiot in a 318i with m badge
no one knows about 4 door m3
Personnally I don't care.
I got my car for 40,853.01 with taxes.
So do u want your car for about 40k with taxes or without?

I personnaly don't like sedans... and I realize that getting a coupe in good condition in Toronto will probably cost me around 40 before tax.
The 'perfect' combo I am looking for is:
95-97 Coupe w/ 5 Speed Manual in Estoril or Silver with less than 80,000 'real' km.. I think I can get this for around 38-40k before taxes.
The only problem will be finding one

I've never seen 96 bimmers in Canada.
95 is 3,0l and got less torque than 96 models. yes '95 has OBDI but personally I would go with traction control.
I didn't want sedan either, but when I sawe it for a first time, I said to my self this is my car and got it.
I suggest you to look at M3/4
http://www.trader.ca/CaliberAutomobi...py&mdnm=M3&q6=
just go, look and test drive it

I got my BMW in Nov., actually 2 BMW's, my brother also got one also from an auction, if you like I can set you up. Basically you get to go, see what you like, say what the most you'll spend on it, then wait till it goes through the auction, if it bids for less then what you say, you got yourself a car. sometimes they have BMW dealer days, and when that happens, you get hundreds to choose from-several m3's.
lef me know if you want more info.
