So I got my D80
Took some test shots around the house.
The camera takes shots in wide screen format at 300 DPI, I cropped the second one.

What kind of f-stop are you using for the 2nd and 3rd picture? and what type of lens?

I used F1.8 for 2 and 3, its a 50mm prime (its my only lens currently, I'm waiting for my 18-200 to come in)

nahhh, still learning. Reading photography website's everyday. Just discovered F4 is the sharpest f stop on the lens.
