need help

Hey guys i have a question for ne one that knows how to hook up an amplifier to a e36, i tried hooking up my amp to the battery in my trunk and its not working i know i hooked everything up properly and the amp is not burned. i was thinking that maybe i cant wire it through the battery in the trunk i have to run the power from the + power terminal thats under the hood? has ne one wired their system by just connecting it to the battery in the back?

You can hook it to the battery in the back no problem, just check the ground. Where did you ground it? If it is a good ground try it somewhere else, on bare metal.

Dont forget about the remote wire on the AMP
