how to clean up tarnished chrome rims??

my g/f's dad has a pt cruiser with chrome rims... sufficed to say, the rims are pretty bad.... he was asking me how to get them looking new again...they're driven in the winter and usualy only hosed off with the wash...

is there anything i can do to make them look new again?

you sure they are chrome, or are they the chrome caps like your truck?

don't you watch mythbusters? Coke and steel wool!!

I'm pretty sure any chrome polish should do the trick.

dude...you have to see these rims... they're pretty bad! not like faded and oxidized...i mean bad!! i will take a pic tomorrow...
