This has been happened when i bought the car but was only happen when car is cold and at high RPM(4500+)

Tonight i drove back from work and i didn't warm up the car, then each gear at any rpm the car felt like couldn't suck gas from gas tank and a jerk feeling and if i stop the car stall..

my inspection paper says my guibo(don't know how to spell..) clutch is bad, can this be problem or fuel filter?(replaced at 92500km, now is 190000km)

guibo, or flex disk is bad. PM proliphic, he knows all about these worries.

could be your fuel filter or your fuel pump. You sure its not the coils/plugs?

edit: as far as i know, fuel filter could cause a similar problem, but not this serious from what i know

by the way, if my memory is not wrong this only occur when gas is low, i remember this's a e36 common problem isn't it? i replaced my spark plugs a month ago and i know last owner took good care on this car because i got all his maintenance history..seems like last service of fuel filter was 92500km which is 100000km ago...or can it be fuel pump problem(e36 common problem as well)

most likely ignition coils, or spark plugs. but sounds more like ignition coils... just not providing the spark when needed quickly/repetatively (i.e. under high RPM's)

fuel pump may be dying, if it can't provide fuel quick enough this can happen... but it doesn't make sense for this problem to stop when the engine has warmed up.
o2 sensor can cause similar symptoms, though you'd notice high idiling, same with intake problems (i.e. clogged air filter.)

I agree with Justin. It sounds a lot like coils or plugs.

If you've been experiencing the problem for some time now, pull the plugs and have a look at them. If you've got a problem with one or more coils/plugs misfiring when cold, you should see a fair amount of black sooty residue on the plug(s) from the cylinder(s) affected.

If your problem is fuel delivery related, you won't see this - the plugs'll all still be pretty clean.

First things first though, replace your fuel filter if it hasn't been done in a shile, like T.Dot_E30 is recommending. If that doesn't clear things up, start investigating further.

My guess would be mainly fuel filter, fuel pump.. Im kinda doubting coils as I was driving with 4 bad coils out of 6 coils and would only stall out at low rpms, just sounds like your not getting the right amount of air/fuel at higher RPM's,

Also Fletch I have a MAF sensor for sale from a 92 325i sedan IF it turns out thats what the problem is, but id start by changing the fuel filter 1st ..

just my 2 cents..

Pro.

It could also be MAF related, does the engine light come on when it does this? or is it currently on?

You should really have ur fuel filter changed, hopefully it has been changed but not on records, bcus 100k is way too long.
