HELP! Need 325 trunk badge ASAP...to delete M
Will PU my new to me 1993 E36 Monday/ Tuesday and need to de-M the trunk lid!
Any sources for 325 badging?
Rear emblem has got to go!
Another question....Other pic is of side badge on M side moldings...does this M just come off?? Does it leave a scar?? What to put in its place on the side molding??
....BTW the front M bumper looks great thanks IMO along with the motorsport 17's
Thanks for the advice (as I am sure you will have some) for the E36 newb

I guess I'll just de-badge the rear and side moldings. No badge is better than false advertising.

//M stuff doesnt belong on non m cars in my opinion. Other then front seats. But to each his own, everyone on here loves that kinda stuff, so they will all tell you to keep the molding (but lose the rear badge) and yell at me for saying this but o well

1. rear badge can be removed with some dental floss, then cleaning up any glue residue. you can do the badge delete till you find your 325i badge. I'm sure there are members on this forum that'll sell you their old one. A lot of people debadge their trunks.
2. The side badge ///M is in the moulding, it does not just come off. You have to remove the entire moulding strip, then take out the emblem from the back.. but it'll leave a hole. There are other badges you can buy such as "BMW Motorsport" badges.
Note that neither of these badges say your car is an ///M3, they just say it's an M (motorsport) car.

IMO, if it's got the sport package, you can put as many M badges you want on it (minus the number).
