Insurance Ages 17-19

Hey guys as most of know me already, I just got a e30 after selling my salvage rebuilt E46 which i was paying $310 a month drove it for 3months and sold it and made a pretty nice profit on the car, but now I have a e30 I got quoted for $1200 a year for the car. Its a 1987 325i, I'am 17 almost 18 with my G2 and no I'am not under my parents insurance.
Just wanted to know what you guys pay.

1200, a year is good for your age...I have 3 cars, and paying about 3000 for a year full coverage too...does these help you out??

I'm 17 with a G2, no accidents (haha suuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrreee curb..) ummm... just liability I pay 3140 a year for a 1988 325iS. Oh ya, thats in my name too.

Insurance is supposed to go down soon. I was quoted 8700.00 to be primary on my 1990 325i. ****ing rediculous but what can you do? So i put it under my moms name and im paying just under 1500. So its not even half of a part time pay check. The rest goes to parts..

what to do

i still have the owner ship of my e30 not transfered over yet..i was thinking to ask my dad if he would transfer it to his name n then make me the second driver for lower rates if that could work if not or lol if he says no then what kinda money am i lookin at yearly and monthly for a 16yr old driver with g2, and finished driving school?keep in mind i got a 2 dooor
