SRT4 Vs BMW M3 Supercharged.
I don't know why this keeps happening to me?
Why do people keep wanting to race my cars?
Why can't people just leave me alone?
This is how the story unfolded.
Having problems with my boost. The car won’t go past 5psi. Doing more research I concluded that the problem is with my belt slipping. I decided to take a drive to Hamilton and pick up a new belt.
Heading back home with the new belt in the trunk, I see this silver SRT4 coming from behind weaving through traffic. Finally he makes it through traffic and I’m thinking he is in a hurry and expected him to fly buy me. To my surprise he pulls up right besides me with his engine revving pretty high maintains his position. Well I know this means. I shift into second gear and wait for his next move. Without warning he is on WOT. I respond to his request. As my tach climbs through the rpm range the SRT4 starts to fall behind rather quickly. I switch into his lane and slow down due to the red traffic light in front. He pulls up to my left. I look over to make a friendly gesture about his sweet looking ride, however the driver’s eyes are glued to the traffic light. Waiting for the light to turn green I hear him bringing his rpm’s higher. This should be fun I thought. Waiting, waiting “Green” with 50% throttle and clutch modulation by end of 1st gear I was 1.5 to 2 cars ahead of him. Shift into second to see him falling right behind me on to the entrance to the highway. I get back onto WOT, he is falling behind, by end of 4th and he is 4 or 5 car lengths back. As we merge on to the highway he pulls besides and starts to match my speed again. With his engine revving high, I down shift to 3rd gear and go to WOT, he responds and starts to fall behind rapidly. By end of 4th gear he must have fallen behind, well let’s say he was a spec in my mirror.

I tend to disagree, the SRT4 is great performance vehicle.
My only question is; how long will they last before thay start falling apart?

Actually I would say the STR handles better has awesome rubber stock. Prob one of the better tires avail and rubber is everything when it comes to handling.
My car on R comps and my street tires the differance is nuts

On a very tight track with tons of turns, I may have to agree with Maxx. At Mosport Driver training track, my diesel Jetta wagon turned in the same times as 1.8T Jettas with way more power.
How about Autocross??

Nah just means ur a better driver then they are. The 318 would lose drivers being 9 times out of 10. SRT is just a better car stock for stock. It does have the disadvan of being Wrong wheel drive but it has tonnes of grip and lots of power to pull it out of the hole. Nice brakes aswell

maxx318 you are shady . When you put a picture of your dads 750 why did you black out the plates. I bet the car is from some German autosales websites and here you fool us like Tment (what ever is his username).....
YOu dont have to show the all number of the lic plates just the country where it comes from.I remember the plates had a blue sticker ,Ukranian plates got no blue euro sticker because they aint in EuroUnion yet.
I mean kinda unusual to have such a high end car and you only driving 318/......Dont get me wrong it's just a thought....
