For the 7 series fans
Here is a picture of my buddies 750iL. Shot this when I was back home visiting. Its the 750iL Protection (is that what they call it?), its got bullet proof windows and doors etc...
Even tho it has the protection package which adds on alot of weight, the car is pretty quick for its size and weight. It might be the torque which is deceiving tho. But who cares about speed when you have all that luxury.

He thinks it is a sport because of the wheels.
Were you in the back seat and roll down the windows? It looks like they replaced the sunroof with a black one also.
The rear windows won't roll down and the sunroof is steel on a protection model. ~$130k new

Sure.
But why??? Without the rest of the parts and pieces you won't die of a head shot but they may shoot your balls off or the femoral artery. Anyway, normal 750 laminated double pane glass runs $1k a window. So parts, new door trims, window frames, front glass, rear glass and sides should set you back .............................
15k oh wait there is the installation too.
Don't forget the Kevlar door panels which who knows what they would cost. I think it is better to just move and buy a house in a better place.
Or you can always try to find a Protection model. Those things are rarer than a BMW that makes it to 100k without a failure in any part or system. Many have claimed to be but I have never seen a picture of one other than from BMW.

That is for the 750 normal dual pane glass not bullet proof. The windshield on your car is USD$1500 installed. If you have to replace it the positioning of the glass is critical or you get wind noise. Have a BMW dealer do it.
