what do you think of those shocks?
Hi
I'm looking foward to buy shocks for my car and I found some Tokico HP Blue shocks for sale at a price thats seems to be pretty decent.
Does any of you guys have experienced them? Anything to say for or against it?
Thanks, have a nice day

What springs are you matching them with? Koni's are stiffer than Bilsteins even on full soft, better for really low and/or stiff springs. Bilsteins will be more comfortable though.

probably some bavauto lowering springs or eibach pro kit. Depends on when i'm going to loose parts of the suspension and what amount of cash I'll have then
would you suggest a place for me to buy Koni's from?

ok disregard my last post because I bought H&R sport springs they will lower the front and rear of 1.25"
Now I'd like to know which shocks will be the best match for these springs. I'd like to have a comfortable yet stiffer ride and also have better handling . For around 600$-800$cad what would you suggest me?
Sorry, I dont know shit in suspension

How about KYB AGX's that are adjustable with 3 settings (soft-medium-hard)

If your car is or is going to be lowered then don't go with the Tokico blue shocks. Either go with the Tokico Illumina adjustables (white), Koni Yellow, or Bilstien Sport.
I still have the Tokico blue struts in my car but the rear shocks blew within six months so I replaced them with the Bilstien sports.

Good choice! The Bilstein Sports are a popular choice, but what I really like about the Koni SAs are the adjustability they allow. As the shocks wear, you can turn them up to compensate.
Konis are relatively cheap at www.tirerack.com and www.shox.com
