Mine usually takes about 4 1/2 to 5 quarts of oil. Put 20W-50. Have fun.

Anyways, it uses about 4.5 bottles of oil or 4.5 quarts as gotkabab stated

Why does it say the E30 M3 uses an M42/M44 motor?

It doesn't.
It says e30/m3 meaning that the e30 had the m10, m20,m42, m44, and s14 engines. We all know the e30 m3 had the s14
