Pre 88 bumper question.

Guys, I am not much into the pre 88 (i think) bumpers that came on the US version of the E30. Just wanted to know what is involved with getting those bumpers changed to the newer style. I am going to be seeing an 87 325e this weekend, but it has those crome bumpers that I can't stand :-(
What can I do to change them??

This M-tech kit seems to be very populer here!!! How much would I have to dish out for this kit, and whats a good place to source this kit.

THanks for you help
Shane

Eurostyle(maxsponsor)and others like Bc autodesign make them. Eurostyle is way cheaper. But the quality is just as good. I have one from him. You will also need rebars from the 89-91 e30 front and rear and the bumper shocks.

Keep your money and look for an 87-91 325i or 325is. You won't be dissapointed with the 325i's or 325is's.

I agree with gsbabdmr. You have to pay for mods for body kit for that cash you can get 90 or 91 325i.
If not get bumpers from 89-91 and put them on your car .
Try to get them from junk yard.

Rear is not a perfect fit on anything under 88...

i say leave the metal bumpers unless the buyer wants other. it doesn't make sinse because you may not get your money back so why go through the trouble.

My advice is buy bumpers or kit from Euro style! It is nice deal and if you are done with mods go ahead. Now if you have to spend some casj on mods plus kits and then that is expensive a bit. Some people want to do swap to I head plus kit already enough money to buy 90 -91 style body.

I know the raer part is not nice fit ,rubber would help it .
