Fitting Mtec 2 on a pre-facelift e30

does anyone know any info or what is involved in fitting mtec 2 on to a pre 88 e30.... i think this is the nicest bodykit on an e30 and want to fit it on my '85 coupe

well from what i have heard there are no probs except you need the rebar and shocks from a 88+ small bumper e30 and you have to kinda do soem work fitting the back bumper

The rear and side skirts HAVE to be modified, which would be a lot easyer done on a fiberglass kit. The way the arche is on the 88+ makes it that there is a gap when you put it on a <87 car. I think some companies are selling the kits already reworked for the 84-87 cars so its bette the check arround before you buy one.

if it makes any difference i have a euro spec e30.... and am all the way down in New Zealand so shipping can sometimes be a problem.... but EUROSTYLE do you know of any of the companies making the ones that fit the pre facelift models?

Try and get a real front if you can. It seems like the replica fronts fit absolutley awful. The rear wheel arches are different on the pre 88 e30s so if you get the original rear bumper it will stick out into the wheel well.
