E 30 shimmy?

Hi Guys:

My buddy's E30 has new tires (balanced and aligned), new tie rods and bearings. Still a slight shimmy around 80 klics!

Any ideas? Don't think it's a caliper problem...

Check the control arms, make sure they aren't bent, now I don't know how many kms are on the car, but they recommend that you replace the arms every 4 years on average, now if you track the car, every 2 years. But I doubt you'll need to do it that often. Also make sure there isn't any shit inside the rim, (mud sand etc).
Could also be something in the steering as well if everything else checks out.

Where the wheels made for E30s? If they are aftermarket maybe thats why. Try some other rims......The rim has to be Hub Centric

Ya i fiqured a bent rim too......but a bent rim wouldn't have balanced.

What it could be, is the shop that put the rims on could have either not balanced the rim properly or maybe not balance them at all....or maybe some of the weights fell off.

Is it coming from the front or back? Is it while driving? or only during braking?

I wanna gonna say it might be a bearing but he posted that it has new bearing and tie rods...

Hmmm it kinda hard to tell without driving it to see.
