is there any difference between 320 ratios and other e36's. 320's are very reliable. I haven't had a prob with mine since I got it. I'm planning on getting a chip soon. I heard Mark D's chips do wonders for the 320's

Remember there isn't much aftermarket support for it.
Get a 318i and do the DASC! I'm gonna do that with mine.

I agree. 320's are great cars but if your looking at racing forget it. They are good on gas also. I've had no problems with the car either. 320's have better gear ratio's compared to 325's from what I have heard.

In that case the 320i is the perfect car!

Car: 1997 Jetta GLX VR6, 1998 BMW E36 323is {M52}(SOLD!), '04 e46 325iT (pops), '86 e30 325e {M20}(My Classic),

It looks like a nice car, it is neat because there isn't to many e36 320i's out there.....
I am a much bigger fan of the e36 320i as opposed to the e46 320i.....Budd's BMW gave me one as a rental when the 323is was in for a service overnight and I was VERY VERY DISAPOINTED!

Well, there's nothing 'bad' about the 320i. If you're a horsepower hound then this car wont suit your needs. Aside from that its a great car . I've owned one for about 5 years and all I've replaced is the clutch and of course the pesky plastic impeller water pump which almost everyone has to do, depending on year of manufacture. No other problems to report. Car's been great and has no problems keeping pace and holding its own on the highway. ..................................
