Is this Illegal
My friend just emailed me this link http://daimotorsports.com/Merchant2/...gory_Code=001. They have my car advertising for the zeemax widebody kit and my plate is clearly shown. Also no one asked me if they can use my car for advertising. Is this illegal??

I'm sure its nothing a "polite" letter won't clear up. Send them a nice letter asking them to either remove the pictures of your car, becuase they posted them on a commercial site without permission. Maybe after they say sorry, you can say, "just mask off the license plate" and be proud your car is on a commercial site...

Some1 from Ottawa sued Canadian Tire because they used his cars pictures in the banners they had in the store without his permission, and he won...

Yeah, I'd do something about it, the licence plate part is what'd bother me the most though.

people would think it is your car that is getting sold..I can remember a few guys on max getting upset when people were posting other peoples cars and saying it was theirs.Same kind of insult

Shaz, you can acually ask to be paid a royalty for every kit like yours they have sold, cause they used you r car to advertise it, all you need a good laywer.

they should cover up the liscence plate..or completely remove the car from their site
it wouldn't hurt if u asked for some money..with ur car advertising

If they took the photos, it is legal, if those pictures do not belong them, it is illegal.
Just email them and ask to remove the photos.

Shit on Zeemax's site too. I checked thier US dealer and is daimotorsports. The pictures are from when performance BMW did the feature. I will send an email to both Zeemax and dai to atleast cover up my plate.
