Angel eyes/HID etc. etc. I need some info!
Give me the low down! MK Gino I know you're an expert on this subject. All I know is I want glass headlights (the brand does not really matter to me at all) with HID lights, 6000K, not 4100 or 4300. Angel eyes would be a big bonus but not a must. What am I going to pay? Inpro is okay to me (I know a lot of people don't like them...). Anyways just want some info! Thanks again,
Brad
p.s. is ebay a good place to get them? I've seen some pretty nice looking kits going for like $250 US.........

I was looking into doing the same thing, i got my angel eyes and euro lights (NOT ImPRO!!) and i've checked into the HID conversion 4300 though, but the one thing i don't get is someone told me i need to buy the whole kit with the glass lenses projector, i told them i got it with my headlights he said i need to buy a different one, I didn't even know they made two, i think its bs, also the lights will not calibrate (meaning going up and down) like on the E46 or newer bmw's which is so cool

You'll need the e36 ellipsoids and a 6000k H1 d2s kit.
I'd buy it all off of ebay, especially the HID bulbs because you can get some really great deals! For example, I got two ballasts for $100 and a pair of H1 6000k bulbs for $60, and it was all plug and play.

DJ Contra that sounds like a good deal! Well then let me ask you another question. What should I expect to pay in TOTAL for EVERYTHING?? New headlights, HID's/ballasts etc etc. etc....

550US and thats for the cheap HID set, lookin at around 400-500 for the good ones, yeah go with the H1 bulbs, much better, brightness is there, plus they don't pop as easy and make a mess inside the housing cause you to take apart your headlights, clean them out, touch the glass, get fingerprints, try to clean them, look all smuggy, just do NOT do this...i think u can tell i've learned from experience

NO way, like contra said its best to build your own OEM HID system, it'll cost a lot less. I'm purchasing the ZKW headlights off of UMNITZA this week, and will eventually get a OEM hid system for my car, hopefully 6000k would be nice. they're startin to sell HID's everywhere, go to the pacific mall they sell them there for 800can, which isn't too bad, but i dunno about the quality!
I was quoted 2200 for the ellipsoids, angel eyes, and hid,s at the pacific mall, but thats a total rippoff!
