e46 Speaker Replacement

Trying to replace the speakers in the rear deck of my e46 coupe wondering where people got their adapter rings from and what size speakers they used.

did you use the original plastic cage still or remove it too?

Any info helps!!

6.5'' speakers should fit nicely there. Also the OEM plastic grill can still be used.
