My m50 vanos won t start

First the car wouldn t idle and had a miss. I changed coils plugs maf and the iac and still no difference.. Then i changed the injectors and rail. But now car won t start and fuel pump isn t getting power i have spark and even when i jump the pump to get it running the car still doesn t start please help!!!!!also when im turning it over my rpm gauge jumps all over

No i had a short in the engine harness so i swapped it out i havn t pit it back together completely yet, but i wasn t getting power to the fuel pump or injectors what would cause that??

I have the same symptoms as you explained in your first post. I replaced the fuel pump and nothing. Some hillbilly mechanic told me i need the timing chain redone (VANOS). Did you try the crank sensor like AXXE suggested?
