Kijiji Find: E46 M3 Individual
Four unique options on this car that I can see from the pictures:
1) Tan leather
2) Extended leather package
3) Two-tone steering wheel
And the biggest:
4) Adjustable Side-bolsters

That's Carbon Black on Kiwi. I used to see it at UTM all the time back in 04-06. For the rarity of that interior, I'd definitely overlook the SMG. Damn it, I really want this M3. Lol.
Edit: Just noticed even the seat backs are in matching leather! Wow, I've ever seen that before.

Ya it looked like it may have been kiwi to me but since my monitor is crap I couldn't tell for sure so I just went with what they're calling it. Either way this is the most "extended" leather I've ever seen...
One odd thing, for me anyhow, is that they don't mention that it's an Individual series anywhere in their advert.

YES. Ecru! That definitely rings a bell. It was so many years ago, I was just thinking it was CB on Kiwi as I've seen those posted. Sick car nonetheless. An enthusiast needs to buy this thing and appreciate it.

Shhh. They probably don't know. If they did, it would be priced higher.
On the E46, getting an Individual leather interior meant you usually got the steering wheel in two-tone. Extended was an additional option. Usually this gives you the lower dash and center console, as well as door inserts but I've never seen the seat backs done in leather as well. This thing's sticker must've been crazy high vs. similar optioned non-Individual E46 M3s.

$8,900. Whoa. Apparently, guys in the US were able to order up the "full leather" components after the car was already built. I wonder if that's still possible...

That doesn't sound right. Where did you hear that? I'm sure it was and is possible to order Full Leather parts and swap them, but I've never heard a dealer offering it as a package.

That's what I meant: retrofitting the parts, not a build sheet "package."
I came across several posts on M3Forum when I was trying to order an Imola/black Bicolor steering wheel for my E39. Members were able to pull part umbers off RealOEM for the Individual Equipment and order them at the dealer to retrofit.

Ohhh, yeah, Individual parts can be ordered through a dealer. Individual parts number are in the ETK, they are under Individual Equipment category for all models.
