spring is just around the corner !! .:wheel lock question thread:.

spring is just around the corner and im sure most of us will be putting on
our summer wheels and what not..

i am considering spending some money on new set of wheels but the only
thing that is stopping me is that some punk ass out there will jack my wheels..

ive found this one
http://my350z.com/forum/wheels-and-t...ocks-ever.html

ive heard wheel locks will only slow the thieves but better then nothing right?

what kind of wheel locks do you guys use and which one are the best ones?

Looks decent, only thing is you'll need a stud kit. You'll need to make sure your studs aren't too long because these aren't open ended, meaning they only go in so far and if you have longer studs that may be a problem.

Otherwise it couldn't hurt. How much are they? Some of those fancy lug nuts are ridiculously priced.

the best thing to do to protect your new wheels is, call your insurance company, and make sure you have proper coverage for them. this will cost roughly the same amount as a lock kit, but will actually help if they do get stolen.

The unfortunate truth is that if they want them, they will steal them, or make your car so low that they can't jack it.
