Help needed picking tire size

Hey guys. I'm buying rims for my 2002 325ci and I was wondering what size tires I should put on them and what kind of tires.

The dimensions for the rims are:

Front : 17x8
Rear : 17x9.5

All The help will be appreciated

225's in the front and 235's in that back...

You could go a tad bit wider in the rear but it all depends what you're into and how you like your ride to look like...

You know you need to give the FULL size to be helpful...

225/45/17 font
245/40/17 or 255/40/17 rear

Thanks for all the input guys. I went with 205/40/15 in the front and 225/45/17 in the back and am happy with how they look
