What's the mileage/year of the vehicle? If you're over 120k, then yes definitely do them.
It doesn't need to rattle for you to notice a healthy rejuvenation of torque.

Don't know about here in Canada, but either way the vendors here usually charge more than ordering from the states.
Give BimmerBoys a shout first, and go with BeisanSystems if they don't have them ($73 shipped)

Change them. - It's really easy & worth it.
I got mine directly from http://www.beisansystems.com/.

Ask Rocco @RMP. I ordered mine from Beisen and had Rocco replace them.

Do it yourself. Learn something and save money.
Not a difficult DIY.

I just did my seals last month. Got them directly from that official site. You also need to buy another vanos cheap part for it. Read the DIY guide and you will see.
My car has 210,000 when I did the seals and felt no difference.

^ i can do it myself... Thats not whay im questionning if i should... But just like mecforhire said je didnt feel the difference, i dont feel like waisting money and time on something thats not really neesed. I hate the fact that people loke us have to pick up the slack for others. 90% of bmw pwners never do it. It only us the fanatics and go beyond what is expected...
Im keeping the car for 2-3 years... Why should i do all the unnecessary work if there wont be any changes.
If this isnt a must do then id rather invest into future problems like sensors orcooling system

The old seals on the pistons were plastic-fyed o the pistons were moving up and down pretty much freely. So even though I felt no difference, I know I fixed something.
But if you have less mileage than me and won't keep the car for long. Then no point spending $70 on some rubber seals.

Depends what your definition of "must do" is. It is preventative maintenance for $70.
You've been given all the information you need to make an informed decision.

anyone order from here??
http://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-Twin-Dou...item231d221cc6
I just cant understand how couple seals can cost $75 with shipping when they cost less then $10 in reality. If I had the measurements Id go to a specialty store and get them... or order a 100 pieces and sell them for $40 shipped.
Does anyone have actual measurements?

Don't buy from UK... unless the shipping is CHEAP! you'll get killed on the duty fees unless they send it as a gift.
