Other Very Important Positions Filled by Volunteers!
Here are a few more very dedicated and loyal members stepping up to make Trillium events run smoothly and professionally.
Dan Janssen (Danimal) - Volunteer Coordinator
Rob Carr - IT/Webmaster Supreme
Jennifer Venditti - Communications Coordinator
Randy Sparre (EMPOWERD) - 2012 Autocross Coordinator/Competition Stuard
Thank-you to all, as we could not hold so many events with so much success without devoted volunteers as such. However, we still need much more help. If any of you would like to help out in any capacity we will be launching a rewards program for volunteers this year. You will earn points based on the amount of tasks you perform helping the club, and in return you could redeem these points for membership dues, swag, event fees for autocross, or driving schools etc. Dan our volunteer coordinator will provide details, and if you have any interest in volunteering please contact Dan Janssen.
Thank-you.

This is an awesome way to get into driving school at a very reduced cost. The guys that helped out at the last DDT Auto-x know what I'm talking about. They did an awesome job, and are very deserving of more than just a pat on the back.

The Trillium club realizes that no time is free time. As a way to recognize the commitment of the volunteers the club will be enacting a point based volunteer system that enables you to exchange volunteer hours for credits towards swag/membership fees/driving schools/etc. We are still in the process of working out exactly what the exchange will entail but the goal is not to make rewards unattainable. You should be quite surprised how fast these volunteer points can add up.
There is a board meeting that will take place on Tuesday January 24th at Grand Prix Kartways (Downsview) where this will be further discussed and debated at the Trillium executive level. More details will be posted following this meeting, but if you can't wait or have some ideas you want to provide, the board encourages you to attend. All board meetings are free and open for Trillium members to attend. The club encourages you to come out and participate.

Why is none of this up on Trillium website?
Not to mention new board, April race school, 2012 go-karts, etc...

The new Board, and go-karts are up. Race school is not, as details have not been worked out yet. Next board meeting is the 24th of January and will be discussed, planned, verified that evening and posted after that.

Just to clarify rewards are only for volunteers that help at the driving school events? or all events?

It will be all events that require volunteers that pre-register for help with the exception of solo 2 autocrossing, as part of participating is volunteering for marshalling. Solo 1 however is too difficult to have participants marshalling so we'll continue with volunteers so long as we have them!
