Best looking aftermarket radio in a bmw?
I'm not really looking for a serious sound system, but want to keep a clean look in my E46. What's the best looking aftermarket deck for the E46 in your opinion?

That is indeed a nice deck, however im looking more of a regular one, and not the double din.

Try this firm Blaupunkt, they originally worked in Business units for e46. some of their decks have red lighting, so it works nicely with a e46 interior.
check E46fanatics.com for more ideas.

you can buy any 1-DIN system... you just need a special "bracket" for it to fit in your car.

Even with the bracket, all aftermarket looks aftermarket in these cars. Dynavin aside, I haven't seen a single aftermarket install that looked even close to oem. If it didn't look as oem as it does, Dynavin units would only cost $300 since they're garbage.

Think he means functionality wise -- I would agree (not that I've tried the v6) but mine is lacking compared to a deck that costs half that much -- gps programs arent great, touch screen is way behind most others out there and theres very little in the way of options such as eq or crossovers that most high end decks have
Just my 0.02 -- but I love how it looks

^That, and the ipod control couldn't possibly be clumsier, and the rest of the interfaces are flat out UGLY. The interface looks like something Atari designed and abandoned in the 80's. Apparently the D95 (V6) is better, but that doesn't say much.
It's pretty when it's off though.
