Hibernation Time :(
So as of last night, after a cool bath and a quick wax polish, the Black Bomber will be sound asleep untill the spring, most likely 1st of April.
It has been 40 000Km's of awesomeness, road trip, HWY runs, Max shananigans and daily errands. After all the paint blemishes that appeared after its first winter, it was going to be stupid of me to repeat my mistake.
I am planning some upkeep items over the winter months, as well as some mods for next season. We will see what the budget allows, but I am thinking of a proper Cosmo CAI (hooked up into my grille), proper polishing of my headlights with some euro touches , HID fogs and finally, Coil overs.
The Turbo winter beast is ready, although I still need to put my winters on it. Love this little HWY runner.
Is yours in hibernation? Plans over the winter?

I put mine to bed the weekend after Thanksgiving. Some intake mods planned for the winter along with some routine maintenance parts.

Thanks, its not my personal garage, I can only handle 2 cars at my place so the daily drivers get the home garage in the winter. The toy gets put up in the pictured garage with a few other peoples toys for winters.

Terry,
I am going to run mine this winter as my daily commute is 7+kms. we'll see how it goes from there, but since I have the TR6 as a winter project and should actually be my "summer" car, can one man have more than one dedacted summer vehicle? Maybe the M5 will be a daily summer vehicle and the TR6 a weekend warrior..

Mine has spent most of the past 14 months in a freakin' coma except for brief periods of insanity when she's awake... -_-

My E36 has been sleeping since august, and E34 insurance runs out in 4 days (barely been driving it). I'm in full-blown E30 beater mode. Loving it.
