Official F30 3 series
When it comes to a nameplate as storied and successful as the BMW 3 Series, the pressure builds on the storied German automaker with each successive generation. Expectations exponentially rise. Will the Ultimate Driving Machine remain ultimate? Well the sixth-generation, 2012 BMW 3 Series is here, and we're about to find out. From what we've seen of the press kit so far, BMW is continuing to tap dance that line between ever-increasing efficiency demands and the driver's car attributes that helped make the 3 Series -- and by extension BMW -- famous.

I'm quite excited for this. I will actually be attending the BMW 3 Series Hommage (tribute to all 3 series models) and F30 intro at the BMW Museum/World tomorrow evening in Munich. It's a special night in the BMW district and many of their buildings will be open with new or speciality displays, particularly tributes to all generation 3 series, until 2:00 am.
Here is a photo of one room they have setup in the Museum (or one side of one room)

It seems like the F30 will be a really decent car. I curious to see how the new 3 series will perform with the turbo 4 cylinder powering her. One thing I'm not too keen on, but could grow on me, are the head lights running strait into the grills.

what you mean? bmw pretty much took on audi's agressiveness now. now audi looks dated and have to redesign their stuff. lol

3, 5, 7 series....whats the difference anymore? They all look the same. Especially the rear end.

wow .. so not interested. I rather have a 1 series then a 3 series boat. These cars have gone more into luxury then sports luxury.
I like the M interior but the rest doesn't look that special.

^^ Could not agree with you more! Look how aggresive and sport the new audi styling is. I expected BMW to follow suit in order to stay competative but this styling just looks boring to me. Barely and different from the current 3 series design

Maybe, if we look into a mirror, and say "Bangle, Bangle, Bangle" 3 times while spinning in a circle while picking our noses, Bangle will return, and fix what BMW has been doing lately.
