e30 Heat problems

I just bought an e30 because I crashed my last one

. I bought the car with an 88' 7 series engine already in the car. I have been working out the kinks (as you can see the "mcgyver'd" air filter) but I am still having heat problems. The engine is supposed to have an oil cooler but it has been looped back via the blue hose in the pic. I have had no luck finding a replacement and wondering if anyone had any ideas or knew rough dimensions as I don't have much room left to work with. The car runs good for now and loves the highway but stop and go traffic makes it heat up. I should be fine for the cooler months ahead but any advise or tips is appreciated.

sry the blue hose is hard to see but it's there

You should be able to fit a 325i oil cooler on there no problem, maybe flipped the other way around so the lines enter on the left side of the engine bay since your oil filter housing is on the left with the M30. Princess Auto crimps hydraulic line to custom lengths, maybe you can get something made up that can fit using the fittings you already have in your filter housing.

is there a decent fan on that rad? or just a stock aux fan?

I have a decent fan up in front of the rad that seems to do the trick for now but I would like to run it as cool as possible. Thanks for the advice on the 325i oil cooler I'm gonna look into that.
