if i park it on the edge, i part closer to the side where theres no cars.

because... i only had my E36 for about a month now and already 3 door dings. ..

I do #2 all the time. But the E60 deserves to be shell-shacked.

^^ If he didn't pay for 2 spaces, yes you should. Same with really fat people on a plane, they should pay by weight, just like you do when you ship cargo.

Agree'd #1 is a douche.

I'm guilty of #2&3. I always park on the line when in the end spot, to give the car more room. (Unless they still decide to park close to my car).

My hope is that there is less chance of my car getting dinged.

Don't flame the noob! I am guilty of #3, and one of my pet peeves is getting dinged. I think the civic behind the SUV is parking in a similar fashion.

the E60 parking falls in the same douchebag category as those who part in handicap spots who are not

Nothing wrong with no. 2 and 3. They're the preferred parking spot at any lot.

I do #1 the most at the far end of a lot. **** you if you don't like it, you aren't the one who is going to be paying to remove my dents/dings which I now have a million of.
