ZHP question
Hi.
I am in the market of looking for E46 between 2004-2006 zhp coupe.
Does Zhp come in 325 as well? All the zhp i see come in 330. Just want to make sure im not getting a lemon..
I like to know is it possible to install the angel eyes on the 2004 and up?
I did some search, no luck.. Do you have to buy a complete headlight with angel eyes?
thanks
Eric

I think I have seen one ZHP 325CI at the Parkview dealer. Honestly, I don't think it was a decent deal. It was an 06, so probably late 2005 built with like 30 000km. The dealer wanted like mid 30k.... That was like a year ago. I think they are rare for sure, so you will come over 330s a lot more.

ZHP was 330 only, and in Canada it was different than the one in the States. From what I remember, here it's not called a ZHP, it's the M Performance Package, which is different from the M Appearance Package. Performance had the cams and higher rpm, appearance had the bumpers, skirts, wheel, spoiler, etc. And in Canada it DOES NOT come with red needles in the cluster.
As for angel eyes, yes they can be installed, but:
1. You have to buy ae's specific for 04+ coupes/convertibles
2. You have to bake your headlights to soften the glue to open them

^^ correct. ZHP's were only packaged 330's. There is a tread on it in this subforum stickied at the top. Only way you saw a 325 ZHP was someone with a 325 who got the ZHP appearance package kit installed on it. I have the M tech kit at home right now waiting to be installed, but by no means is my car a ZHP.
I haven't seen a ZHP or M-Performance Package 330 for sale in Ontario for a good price without over 80,000km or more in some time.

I know someone that wants to sell his '05 (I think) ZHP coupe. It's steel grey, 6 speed, with nav, and black leather interior. It's also a low km car, under 70k last I heard from him. If you want his info, PM me and I'll get it for you.

I'd consider selling my 330ci ZHP coupe (black on black) but its over 80,000km's, which isn't a bad thing. Means I've poured $$$$ to do the normal maintenance rather than getting rid of it due to the SELL BEFORE 100K jitters....
But yeah, I've had many other cars come and go, but this ZHP is just a SOLID wonderful car to own forever. Who wants to get rid of a GREAT thing? right? I agree with your statement Slemmer about the fine wine
