Anyine have the front shock towers rip. I mean along the seam, where the seam sealer is ? Is this a common problem? Im going to be grinding and cleaning away all the seam sealer this weekend. I hope it isnt that bad.
clean it up and put a new bead weld around it. usually happens either from rust, or a combination of that and stiffer suspension. Very hard ride can damage the shock tower over time. Something has to take the beating from the road. So the weakest link is usually what gives.

Ya I kinda though so. Im thinking of caging my car. Has any ever boxed in the front shock towers? If so dose anyone have pics? I know that people have boxed in the sides where the fenders bolt to.
