Make a 3.5'' version and you'll steal sales away from Dinan or Cosmo Racing.

You'd have to upgrade to a euro 3.5" MAF for that to work. Even then it's sort of a waste because the throttle body is still a bottle neck (around 2.75"?)

Not really you just need an adapter for it, there is a reason why the dinan 3.5'' intake is the best intake.

And the winner is..... Bang on, a sudden squeeze at MAF, will cause turbulence and compression, which can be rather disruptive in an otherwise smooth system. Unless your compressing the air smooth and linear bigger is not better
And yes let's not clutter and bring up other companies in a for sale thread

Should also mention these are only "Plug and Play" on OBD1 E36's.
If you're putting it on an OBDII motor, you'll need to plug that hole in the tubing.

air boxes were kept the same, there should be a cover on the airbox if your car did not have the temp peice and that is used

u can't actually believe you gain 5-10 hp... especially with nice metal piping that'll warm that air up REAL good

5 to 10 hp is a modest fair gain with this type of CAI, I'm not making outrageous claims, like some companies.

The air moves too quickly to actually heat up though.
