New Member from Hamilton (but TO/Brampton too)

Hi guys... I am new to the forum too.
looking to gain some info and wisdom from the collective.

First NOOB question,

I want to buy an OBD 2 to USB cable to read codes off my 325i.
What software is best recommended?

I don't plan to be a BMW mechanic, but I would like to be a somewhat good DIY.

Thanks in advance.

obd2tech.com sells cheap carsoft kits (found this out after talking to doogee about his car)

theres a whole host of scanners and interface and programs, head over to bimmerforums.com and check out the software/diagnostic section for downloads and input on interfaces. great resource.
