There are other methods of doing it, but a lot of people choose to do it this way...so we are going to start of with a honda civic.

Step 2:
We then use the polygonall lasso tool, at the top left hand side...and outline the windshield carefully....

the next step we are going to do is select the side windows...to do this:
Hold shift+mouse click on the location where you want to start the selection..you will see a + sign will appear on your polygonal lasso tool...do the same with the third window...you only need to hold it the first time then it works until connected.
it should come out like this.

Now we want to choose the Burn tool on the left...if it is not selected hold your mouse button and choose the burn tool...
At the top left corner you can choose the size of your tools...for this it doesen't really matter, but i prefer larger, so it takes less time

With the burn tool...you want to hold your mouse button and cover every window without letting go...for more shades of tint...let go of the mouse button and go over it one more time.. this is the tint layer 1.

another method where the windows are still selected is the brightness method...
go to image>adjust>brightness/contrast at the top of the screen...and set the brignthess arrow downwards to cause the tint effect..
Hope it helps guys.
