Do you find the X5 35d enjoyable after a week so far? my favourite BMW that I have driven so far- other than M products of course is the 35d X5

^^ E46 design is timeless, but family required something bigger. X5 35D is comfortable, you could almost fall asleep in the comfort seats. With the sport package and adaptive drive and the 275 and 315 rubber, it will surprise you in the corners.
Great mileage too, on a recent road trip to Pennsylvania, we averaged 8.8 l/100 KM, and thats in something weighing 4800 lbs. It ain't no M3, but I'm looking to jump back into something with the S54 next spring (Z4M hopefully).

^^ Just under 6k. The X5 has the sport package and the rear self levelling suspension, so there isn't any sag. Tows quite easily actually.

Nice!
Considering the cost of maintaining the boat, storage, gas etc you could have gone M5

Yeah, the auto-leveling is quite obvious there. Nice rig and craft
Your leaves sure are red... I've not ventured out of downtown for a while, but damn...
