CF hood local source?
My hood has seen better days so it's gotta go away - figure I'd go with a carbon fibre or fiberglass replacement - don't want to pay hundreds in S&H from the States so does anyone local sell aftermarket hoods for the E36?
Anyone here have an AM hood? Thoughts?

You can get a new metal hood for around $300. You'll have to paint it of course. No source for composite of any kind locally, and everyone else will be ordering it from the US. Count on at least 800 or so shipped.

They are interchangeable. Some of the interior is different, and the doors (obvi) but the rest of it is generally the same.
EDIT: NO, they are not interchangeable. I was thinking it was E30. Mai bad boyz.

Do you want OE, or aftermarket? Aftermarket I can help you with.

Aftermarket works just fine for me, as long as the edges are curled, and not just cut, the latch hardware is pre-installed, it sits straight, and ain't too expensive then I'd sure like to hear what you have to say

Ok, I'll let you know. Will you need it painted? They come primed. What's your colour code?
